Our Pediatricians
Dr. Meg Ingram
Dr. Meg Ingram is a Decatur native and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama. She received her medical degree from UAB Heersink School of Medicine and completed a residency in pediatric medicine at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Ingram’s favorite part of being a pediatrician is getting to partner with families and be there step by step, all the way from the newborn days to the adolescent years.
She and her husband, Kris, also a Decatur native, have three sons.

When not in the office, you can find her going for walks and bike rides with her family, reading, and being an active member in her church community. Some of her favorite things to do include playing outside with her boys and watching sports, including cheering for the Crimson Tide!
Dr. Christian Smith
Dr. Christian Smith, a native of Decatur, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his medical degree from UAB Heersink School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at UAB. He loves all aspects of pediatric care, but has a passion for helping families navigate the newborn period, teen mental health, and a body positive approach to managing obesity.

Outside of his medical career, Dr. Smith finds fulfillment in his family life. He has fully embraced being a "girl dad". He is a husband to Kathryn and a father to three girls. Beyond medicine; he enjoys reading, being silly with his girls, photography, movies, sports
(Roll Tide!) and being active in his church community.
Dr. Christian Smith has been absolutely incredible! He helped us get a diagnosis for our newborn that required surgery. He listened to our concerns and did everything he could to help our girl. He is an excellent doctor and we are so thankful he is our pediatrician!
We trust Dr. Meg Ingram to take care of our grandchildren. She has proven over and over to be an exceptional provider. She is very loving, caring, and has a parenting demeanor. We just love her.
